What's new in Meeting Analyzer
What's changed in the rebuilt Meeting Analyzer, where to find things, and what to expect.
Meeting Analyzer has been rebuilt into a faster, simpler experience organized around four tabs — Dashboard, Team, Coverage, and Meetings — plus a brand-new Coverage view that shows whether your calls are actually being captured and analyzed. This article walks through what's changed, where to find things, and what to expect.
Overview
Meeting Analyzer is where you and your managers see how sales conversations are going — scores, trends, coaching themes, and the specific calls worth reviewing. The new version consolidates what used to be several separate screens into four clear tabs, and adds a Coverage view so you can trust that the numbers reflect your full set of calls.
What you see depends on your role:
- Reps see their own performance — scores, strengths, what to work on, and their own meetings.
- Managers and leaders also see team-wide views — the performance grid, trends, leaderboard, and team coaching focus areas.
The four tabs
Dashboard — your weekly home
A personalized starting point that adapts to your role. You'll find:
- A score and KPI snapshot (your score or your team's, meetings this week, best-performing stage)
- Strengths & Risks — what's going well versus slipping, framed as coachable themes
- A plain-language coaching recap
- A pipeline funnel showing meetings by deal stage with scores (requires a connected CRM — see below)
- Goal progress
- A "meetings to review" shortlist — your wins and the calls that need attention
Team — coaching the whole team
Available to managers and leaders (reps see their own slice):
- A performance grid of each rep by deal stage and by meeting type
- Score trends over time and a weekly heatmap
- A team leaderboard
- Team highlights, biggest movers, and suggested focus areas to assign
Coverage — new
The Coverage tab answers a simple but important question: can you trust the scores? It shows how much of your team's activity is actually being captured and analyzed, so you're never drawing conclusions from half the picture.
- "Users connected" and "Meetings transcribed" summary dials
- User coverage — who has recording and calendar connected, with a follow-up list for anyone who isn't set up
- Meeting coverage — the share of scheduled calls that were transcribed, and the reason any were missed
A coverage summary also appears at the top of every screen so you always know what the numbers are based on.
Meetings — the full call list
One unified, filterable list of your meetings:
- Each meeting shows its score and status band (On track / Watch / Needs help)
- Filter by score band, member, and text search
- A score-trend sidebar and a "missing meetings" list (scheduled calls with no transcript)
Selecting a meeting opens the single-call view, with a stage-by-stage breakdown and a coaching-feedback card.
How calls get into Meeting Analyzer
Meeting Analyzer works across your connected meeting sources. Calls are brought in through:
- Brevity Notetaker (Google and Outlook calendars)
- Gong and Fireflies
- Salesloft and RingCentral
Connect or manage these under Connections.
If you used the previous version
A few things have moved or changed with the rebuild:
- The Calendar tab has been retired. Upcoming and past meetings now live in the Meetings list and on the Dashboard. Auto-join is now a one-time connection setting under Connections (on the meeting bot), rather than a per-meeting toggle.
- The single-call view focuses on scoring and coaching. It shows a stage-by-stage breakdown and a coaching-feedback card, with supporting quotes from the conversation. A full, scrollable transcript is coming soon; video playback isn't part of the new view. (See the note below.)
- Meeting-list filters have changed. Filtering is now by score band, member, and text search.
Looking for the full transcript or video? A full transcript is on its way to the single-call view. Video playback isn't part of the new view — if you rely on it, let your Customer Success Manager know.
A note on CRM-powered features
The core Dashboard and coaching views work without a CRM. The pipeline funnel and deal-stage context light up once your CRM is connected. (Hubspot and Salesforce support is on the way.) If your funnel looks empty, check your CRM connection under Connections.
FAQ
Do I need to do anything to get the new version?
No. The new Meeting Analyzer is the standard experience — there's nothing to install or switch on.
What do the score colors mean?
Meetings and scores are grouped into three bands based on the meeting's score: On track (green, 70+), Watch (yellow, 55–69), and Needs help (red, below 55).
Can reps see each other's scores?
No. Reps see their own performance. The team-wide views — the performance grid and leaderboard — are for managers and leaders.
What happened to the Calendar tab?
It's been retired. Your meetings now live in the Meetings list and on the Dashboard, and auto-join is set once under Connections.
The Coverage tab shows we're missing calls — is that a problem with Brevity?
Not necessarily. Coverage surfaces gaps so you can fix them — usually it points to a rep who hasn't connected recording or their calendar yet. Use the follow-up list on the Coverage tab to get everyone set up.
Does the pipeline funnel work without a CRM?
The funnel and deal-stage context need a connected CRM (HubSpot today). The rest of the Dashboard works without one.
