Manage Supported Role Play Languages at the Organization Level
Information and instructions related to multilingual role play
We’re currently transitioning our admin model from Team > Group to Organization > Team > Group, with admin roles becoming Organization Admin and Team Admin. As a result, some language in this article (for example, references to “Team” or “Group”) may not exactly match what you see in the product today. The underlying functionality described here remains the same, even if the labels and hierarchy in your app look slightly different while we complete this transition.
Who is impacted: Brevity Organizations using Deepgram or Open AI Realtime for Speech-to-text during role play will see the option to change the language the AI speaks from English to one of over 25 available languages.
What is impacted: Multilingual specifically impacts what language the AI will respond in during role play, the transcript, and any hints, scripts, instructions, or statement feedback provided.
What is NOT impacted: Text, instructions, labels, etc outside the role play experience follow your Browser settings. If a user wants their full Brevity experience to be in a language other than English they should set their Browser to translate to their language of choice.
Brevity users can conduct role play conversations in more than 25 available languages, allowing global teams and non-English speaking teams to practice in the languages they sell and support every day. See below for a complete list of available languages.

Support for multiple languages can be enabled at the organization level, the team level, and the individual assignment level. Default settings are hierarchical, meaning the defaults set at the organization level will be applied automatically to the team level, and defaults set at the team level will be applied automatically to individual assignments. However, applied default settings can be changed at any level at any time. For more information, see:
- Manage Supported Languages at the Team Level
- Manage Supported Languages for an Individual Assignment
To select supported languages at the organization level:

- To add or remove supported languages, click the Languages drop-down menu, then select languages to include by clicking the check box.
- Currently supported languages for the organization appear in a banner above the Languages drop-down menu.
- To reset all open assignments to the organization default languages, click Set All Open Assignments to Default. This will override any unique language settings at the assignment level.
Note: If you do not see the Languages selection field in your Org settings or a role play settings, it is likely due to your Organization's selected Speech-to-Text provider. If you need access to an STT provider that supports Multilingual, contact your customer support manager or Brevity Support.
