Some role plays put you in front of **more than one AI persona at the same time**: a couple deciding together, a buyer and the colleague who has to sign off, a physician and a clinical reviewer. Everyone is in the room from the start, and you handle all of them in one conversation. ### Overview A multi-persona role play works like any other role play: you open the assignment, start the session, and talk. The difference is who's across the table. Instead of one persona, you face two or three, each a different person with their own voice, priorities, and reasons to push back. ### Choosing who you face If the role play offers more than one group of personas, the **Who are you talking to?** screen shows them under **Committee groups**. Select a group to see its members. When you start the role play, pick your group under **Choose your committee**. You face only the personas in that group. If the role play has a single group, you'll see "You'll face this group in the role play." If it has no groups, you face all of its personas.   ### What the session looks like - **Every persona is present from the start.** You see all of them as tiles before and during the conversation. - **The current speaker is highlighted**, so you always know who's talking. - **Personas take turns.** One speaks at a time; they won't talk over each other. - **Each persona has a distinct voice**, so you can tell them apart without watching the screen. When your organization uses video avatars, each persona has a moving avatar face. Otherwise each persona shows a still portrait. You can share your screen during the session, the same way you would in a one-persona role play.   ### Talking to a specific person Address someone by name, the way you would in a real meeting: "Mark, does that timeline work for you?" The persona you name answers. Naming the person you want to hear from is the clearest way to bring a quiet persona into the conversation or to check whether the second decision-maker agrees. ### Tips for a multi-persona conversation - **Open to the room, not to one person.** Acknowledging everyone at the start tends to go better than pitching to whoever spoke first. - **Check the quiet one.** The persona who hasn't objected isn't necessarily on board. Ask. - **Watch for disagreement between personas.** When two personas want different things, resolving that is usually what the scenario is testing. - **Confirm agreement individually before you close.** "Does that work for both of you?" is worth asking out loud. ### Your score You get **one score for the session**. It reflects how you handled the whole conversation, not one persona at a time. Milestones update during the conversation. When the session ends, the results screen may show **Checking milestones…** for a few seconds while the final results come in. ### Reviewing the session afterward The replay shows the personas you faced, and the transcript labels every line with the name of the persona who said it, so you can follow who raised which objection and how you answered each one. ### Limits - **Finish in one sitting.** **Pause & exit** isn't available in multi-persona role plays. - **English only.** Multi-persona role plays are supported in English-language sessions. - **Browser only.** Multi-persona role plays aren't available as phone role plays. ### FAQ **Can the personas interrupt each other?** No. They take turns, one speaker at a time. **Do the personas have moving faces?** Yes, when your organization uses video avatars. Otherwise each persona shows a still portrait. Voices are distinct either way. **Do the personas always speak in the same order?** The seating order is set by whoever built the role play. Who speaks when within the conversation follows what you say. **Do I get a separate score for each persona?** No. One score covers the whole session. **Why does the results screen say "Checking milestones…"?** Your final milestone results take a few seconds to come in after the session ends. They appear on their own. **How many personas can be in one session?** Up to three. **Can I choose which personas I face?** When the role play offers persona groups, yes: pick a group under **Choose your committee** when you start.
