What's new: privacy and visibility controls

We've added a set of organization-level controls for teams that want a more private, less competitive environment — or that have privacy requirements about what individual members can see and what gets reported. There are three: hide the leaderboard, hide the Organization page from members, and an anonymized activity report. Each is set per organization — ask your Customer Success Manager to turn any of them on or off.

Hide the leaderboard

For organizations that prefer a non-competitive training environment, the leaderboard can be turned off org-wide. It's shown by default; when hidden, the competitive ranking is removed from the Home page for everyone, while each person's own practice and progress stay exactly as they are. This affects only the Home-page leaderboard widget.

If you would like the Leaderboard removed from your Members' Home page view, contact your Customer Success Manager to disable this feature.

Hide the Organization page from members

The Organization page (which includes the member directory) is now hidden from standard members — this is the default for privacy of personal information. When it's hidden, members don't see the Organization page in their navigation, and a direct link sends them Home. Org Admins and Team Admins always keep access.

If members need the Organization page, your CSM can turn it on for your org.

Members in more than one organization: keep the Organization page enabled for them. The control to switch between organizations lives on that page, so hiding it also removes their ability to switch orgs.

A note on scope: this hides the Organization page and its member directory. It doesn't remove members' names from other places they appear together in the product (for example, collaborative or community surfaces) — it's specifically about the Organization page.

Members continue to have access to their own profile information by clicking their Avatar --> My Profile to edit their name and role, verify their phone number, or change their platform language.

Anonymized activity report

For organizations that need to report on engagement without surfacing individuals, admins can enable an anonymized Activity Report. It shows counts only — no names and no per-person data — over a date range you choose:

  • Practice vs. submitted conversation counts (private practice vs. official/submitted).
  • Unique active members — how many people practiced or submitted (and the split), never who.
  • Practice and total time (in minutes).
  • Participation rate against your licensed seats.

The report is exportable to CSV so you can share it with stakeholders. It's available to Org Admins and is org-wide. It's especially useful for privacy-regulated or partner-run orgs.

Turning these features on or off

All three are per-organization settings. Your Customer Success Manager can enable or disable each one for your account — just let them know which environment you want.

FAQ

Does hiding the leaderboard affect anyone's scores or practice? No. It only removes the competitive ranking widget from the Home page; individual practice and progress are unchanged.

Who can still see the Organization page when it's hidden? Org Admins and Team Admins always keep access — only standard members lose it.

We have members in multiple orgs. Anything to watch? Yes — keep the Organization page enabled for them, because the "switch organization" control lives on that page.

Does the activity report show individual names? No. It's counts only — practice and submitted totals, unique-member counts, time, and participation rate — with no names or per-person data. You can export it to CSV.

Can team admins see the activity report? Not currently — the anonymized report is available to Org Admins and is org-wide.
