Adding and Removing Team Members
Information and instructions for adding and removing Brevity organization members from a team
We’re currently transitioning our admin model from Team > Group to Organization > Team > Group, with admin roles becoming Organization Admin and Team Admin. As a result, some language in this article (for example, references to “Team” or “Group”) may not exactly match what you see in the product today. The underlying functionality described here remains the same, even if the labels and hierarchy in your app look slightly different while we complete this transition.
Add Existing Brevity Organization Members to a Team
If a Brevity organization account has already been created for a user, you can easily add that user to a team:

- In Brevity configuration, select the team where the user should be added.
- Click Add Members to Team.
- Click the Users drop-down menu and select the user or users you want to add to the team.
- Click Save.

Invite New Brevity Users to the Organization and Add them to a Team Automatically
If the user or users you want to add to a group do not have Brevity accounts, you can simultaneously create a Brevity account for those users and invite them to the team.
Note that user accounts created via a team count toward your total Brevity seats, so before adding users with this method, note the number of existing users and the seats remaining for your instance in the upper-right corner of the Brevity window.

To add users to your Brevity organization and a team simultaneously:

- In Brevity configuration, select the team where the user should be added.
- Click the drop-down arrow to the right of the Add Members to Team button.
- Click Invite New Users to Your Organization and Add Them to This Team.
- In the Invite New Users section, enter the person's First Name, Last Name, and Email address.
- Select a role. This role applies to the user at the Team level. For additional information, see:
- Click Send an invite.

Note that you can also simultaneously add multiple users to your Brevity organization and a team by uploading a .csv file. For more information, see:
