Completion Certificates
This guide explains how completion certificates work for training plans in Brevity. Certificates provide formal proof that a learner has finished a training program — useful for compliance, HR records, and rep recognition.
How Certificates Work
When a learner completes all required sections of a training plan, a completion certificate is automatically generated. No admin setup is required — certificates are built in.
The certificate is a downloadable PDF that the learner can access from their completed training plan view.
Who Can Download Certificates
Learners only. Each learner downloads their own certificate from their completed plan view. Admins cannot download certificates on behalf of learners.
What's on the Certificate
Each certificate includes:
- Learner's name
- Training plan title
- Completion date
How to Download a Certificate
- As a learner, navigate to My Training Plans.
- Open a completed training plan.
- Click Print Certificate or Download Certificate to save the PDF.
Use Cases
- Compliance documentation — Provide formal proof of training completion for regulated industries like financial services and insurance.
- HR records — Document onboarding milestones and ongoing training for employee files.
- Rep recognition — Acknowledge completion of certification programs or skill-building tracks.
FAQs
Can I customize the certificate design?
Not currently. Certificates automatically include your organization's branding from account settings. Custom certificate designs are not supported at this time.
Is there a certificate for completing a single chapter?
No. Certificates are generated when the learner completes the entire training plan. Individual chapter completion does not trigger a certificate.
Can an admin download a learner's certificate?
No. Only the learner can download their own certificate from their completed plan view.
Do certificates require any setup?
No. Certificates are generated automatically when a learner completes all required sections. Your org branding is pulled from account settings.
