Connect Amazon Connect to Meeting Analyzer

Bring your Amazon Connect calls into Meeting Analyzer with a guided AWS setup.

If your team runs calls through Amazon Connect, AWS's cloud contact-center platform, Brevity can now pull those recordings into Meeting Analyzer automatically — transcribing, analyzing, and scoring them the same way it does calls from Gong, Fireflies, and Salesloft. This article covers what you need, how to connect, and how to make sure every call lands with the right person.

Overview

Once you connect your Amazon Connect account, Brevity automatically pulls in your call recordings, transcribes them, matches each call to the right Brevity user, and runs full analysis and scoring — no manual uploads. This extends Meeting Analyzer beyond video-meeting sources to phone and contact-center calls, so conversations that used to be a blind spot get coached alongside everything else.

Setup is designed to be near-zero-typing: you launch a guided AWS setup, and Brevity auto-detects the connection and finishes configuring it.

What you need

  • Meeting Analyzer active for your organization.
  • An Amazon Connect instance in AWS, with call recording in use.
  • An admin who can complete the guided AWS setup for your account.

Connecting Amazon Connect

  1. In your Brevity admin settings, open Connections and find the Amazon Connect card.
  2. Launch the guided AWS setup and follow the steps.
  3. Brevity auto-detects the connection and completes configuration — there's very little to type.
  4. Once connected, Brevity begins pulling in call recordings on its own and they start flowing into Meeting Analyzer.

The Connections card shows your connection and sync status so you can confirm things are healthy at a glance.

Mapping agents to Brevity users

Amazon Connect identifies callers as agents. So each call is scored for the right person, Brevity lets an admin map each Amazon Connect agent to the matching Brevity user (or mark an agent to ignore).

If a call comes in from an agent who isn't mapped yet, it surfaces as "needs review" and a banner flags the unmapped agent. [SCREENSHOT-3] Map the agent, then use the one-click reprocess to re-score any calls that were parked waiting on that mapping.

Where your calls show up

Connected Amazon Connect calls appear in the Meetings list like any other analyzed conversation, with full transcription, analysis, and scoring. Open a call to see its single-call view — the composite score, stage-by-stage breakdown, coaching card, transcript, and recording playback.

FAQ

Do reps have to upload calls manually?
No — once connected, Brevity pulls recordings automatically.

How hard is setup?
It's a guided AWS wizard with auto-detect — near-zero typing.

What happens to a call from an agent we haven't mapped?
It shows as "needs review" with a banner. An admin maps the agent, then one click reprocesses and re-scores the parked calls.

Does it work across multiple organizations?
Yes.

How is this different from Gong, Fireflies, or Salesloft?
The analysis is the same end to end — the only difference is that the source is a contact-center phone system rather than a video meeting.

Can we bring in older calls?
Brevity uses a lookback window so a call after a quiet stretch isn't missed, but deep historical backfill isn't the focus of this release. Ask your CSM about your specific needs.
