Trouble Logging In
Quick Answer (TL;DR)
Most cases are resolved by:
Logging in with your company email, then accepting a pending invite notification. If you don’t see an invite, creating an account with the correct company email usually fixes it.
When This Happens
This usually happens when you were invited to Brevity but haven’t completed all setup steps yet, such as accepting the invite, creating an account, or verifying your email.
It can also happen if you’re using the wrong email address or recently reset your password.
SSO note: Signing up with Google or LinkedIn uses the email tied to that account (often personal). Use your company email when joining your organization’s Brevity workspace.
What You Might Notice
-
You see an error saying the email or password is incorrect
-
You don’t remember creating an account
-
You reset your password but still can’t log in
-
You were invited but don’t see your company after logging in
How to Fix It (Step-by-Step)
-
Go to the Brevity login page.
-
Try logging in using your company email address.
-
If that doesn’t work but you already created an account, select Reset Password and follow the steps.
-
If you still can’t log in, try Create Account using your company email.
-
After logging in, look for a notification (🔔) about a pending invite and accept it.
-
Once the invite is accepted, you should be taken into your company’s workspace.
What Not to Do
-
Do not create multiple accounts using different email addresses.
-
Do not use a personal email if your company invited you using a work email.
-
Do not assume the invite failed if you didn’t see an email — it may appear inside the app after login.
Why This Happens
Most login issues occur because the invite email was missed, filtered, or the account was created with a different email address than the one used for the invite. Logging in with the correct company email allows Brevity to link your account to the invite.
