Scoring & Feedback: Start, Stop Continue Guidance
Start, Stop, Continue (SSC) Guidance Overview
What is Start, Stop, Continue Guidance?
Start, Stop, Continue (SSC) Guidance is AI-generated coaching feedback that appears at the bottom of your Brevity transcript analysis. It provides three categories of recommendations:
- Start: New behaviors or techniques to adopt in future conversations
- Stop: Current behaviors that may be hindering effectiveness
- Continue: Effective behaviors worth maintaining

Why Use SSC Guidance?
SSC Guidance is designed to help you improve your conversation skills over time by identifying patterns that may be holding back your live conversations and suggesting actionable next steps. It complements the objective scoring feedback above it by offering forward-looking coaching recommendations.
How SSC Guidance Works
SSC Guidance is generated by an AI language model that analyzes your transcript and provides personalized recommendations. Because it's AI-generated, it can occasionally make errors—such as suggesting you ask a question you already asked, or misinterpreting context in the conversation.
Tip: Remember that AI can make mistakes, and we're constantly working to improve the accuracy of SSC Guidance. If you notice feedback that seems incorrect or doesn't match your transcript, please reach out to our support team—your feedback helps us make the product better.
For the most accurate feedback, always refer to the Score Explanation sections above the SSC Guidance. These sections are objectively scored based on:
- Whether you passed specific milestones
- Statement-by-statement analysis of your conversation
